Hanyuu makes the bold admission that she used to be like Eua and not believe in miracles!
Eua remains unmoved by Hanyuu’s words and ends her speech with a big wallop!
Back in the real world, Rika has got Satoko in the corner... Surely, surely it is done!
Satoko reminds Riko that when she is gone Rika will realise that the girl who liked her the most was Satoko. Rika ponders at that thought!
Then goes ape and lays down her mighty sword!
But decides that giving her a bloody beating is the best option!
Satoko is one tenacious loli and manages to grab a foothold in this fight. The girls are each other’s throats!
From the rumble emerges Hanyuu!
And the girl means business!
Hanyuu remains steadfast that a miracle will happen and the miracle will side with her and just like that the heaven’s open up!
For once Eua looks at her in awe!
Hanyuu has the sword and with this new found power is suddenly calling the shots! How the tables have turned!
Eua regains her composure and goes for the attack!
But Hanyuu is equal to that challenge and unleashes a bout of fury at Eua! This could actually get intense!
Using the power oflove fragments Hanyuu charges her attack for the super special!
And goes for the kill!
The damage is real folks!
What’s this? Eua in loli mode?!
Eua admits to being struck down and seemingly disappears into the abyss! Did Hanyuu really pull of the great miracle?
The girls are really at it!
This fight is beginning to resemble a scene in Street Fighter!
DOUBLE KO!
After all that anger is out of their systems the girls finally talk about compromise. Wow! After that epic tussle I am surprised they can settle into a quiet conversation!
Rika says she will help Satoko study but Satoko says she sucks balls at studying and had tried this through multiple loops. I think Rika thought of her as an idiot but tempers this criticism by saying she is not cut out for studying!
After a long silence the gang finally spot Rika and Satoko by the river! Worried about the ragged clothes they all rush out to support the girls.
Satoko reassures them that a few weak Rika punches can never harm her!
Rika can’t let that back hander slide and says that her punches made her cry! Mion breaks it up before another fight can get going! Rena and Keiichi can only watch in bemusement!
Disaster averted they pack up and head home. Rika and Satoko have still not got over their lover’s tiff…
The gang remind Satoko and Rika that while this may seem like the end, the two will always hold a special relationship to one another… Sometimes even friends need some distance and time to themselves.
The words do the trick and the girl’s expressions soften…
The girls’ inch closer and closer… Then they join hands!
And the magic moment arrives!
It is the big day and it is time for Rika to depart Hinamizawa!
Satoko finally shows her face. Things look to be tense…
But it is all cordial as Satoko wishes her well in her studies even saying she will make some great friends in St. Lucia school. I guess it only took Satoko 100 years (or more) to figure out that staying behind was the common-sense approach. Better late than never I suppose!
Rika eyes flash red! As the only two loopers in this universe she realises time apart maybe the sensible option after all especially when you can live forever… Satoko agrees with her own looper eyes.
We get treated to a slideshow of sorts from the extended cast…

Teppei brings a feast home but Satoko is less than impressed. Shion joins the fray saying she will help the pair finish the food…
